In short: please allow simmonitorco.com.au over HTTPS (port 443), including WebSocket connections to the same address. That is the only address SIM MONITOR CO uses. It stores no patient information.

What SIM MONITOR CO is

SIM MONITOR CO is a patient-monitor simulator for healthcare simulation training, made by SIM MONITOR CO PTY LTD (ACN 703 289 169), Australia. A tablet or screen shows a simulated monitor, the trainer runs the scenario from a phone or tablet, and an optional second screen shows results such as X-rays and blood gases. It runs in an ordinary web browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge); the iPhone, iPad and Android apps load the same website. It is a training tool, not a medical device, and never connects to patients, medical equipment or hospital systems.

What to allow

Address: simmonitorco.com.au (and www.simmonitorco.com.au, which redirects to it).
Protocol and port: HTTPS on port 443.
Live connection: the devices in a simulation stay in step through a WebSocket connection to wss://simmonitorco.com.au/socket.io/. If WebSockets are blocked or inspected, it falls back to ordinary HTTPS requests (long polling) to the same address, which works but responds more slowly.
Nothing else: every page, script, picture, video clip and sound comes from that one address. There are no content delivery networks, web fonts, analytics, advertising or other third-party services in the pages.
Devices don't talk to each other directly: each device connects to the server over the internet, so it works on networks that keep devices apart (client isolation), and the devices don't have to be on the same network.

Why it may be blocked

The domain was registered in October 2026, so some web filters place it in categories such as "Newly Registered Domains" or "Newly Revived Domains" and block it by default. The fitting category is Education (or Health / Medical education).

Data and privacy

No accounts, names or email addresses are needed to run a simulation, and no patient information is entered or stored.
A simulation room is identified only by a random six-character code. Its simulated settings (heart rate, rhythm and so on) are kept on the server so the screens stay in step, and are deleted whenever the server restarts.
For institutions with a licence, use is recorded by the licence's serial number only (no names or IP addresses).
No advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics. Settings such as the licence code stay in the browser's own storage on each device.

If a simulation is due before the change can be made

The devices can use a phone's personal hotspot (mobile data) instead of the hospital network for the session.
